Jeremy Hayes grew up in Mt. Vernon, IL and was coached by Clint Turner all four years in high school in the pole vault. Hayes was a three time all stater in the pole from 94, 95, and 96. Upon graduating high school in 1996 Jeremy attended McKendree College on a track scholarship and graduated from McKendree in 2000 with a BA in Criminal Justice. In 2001 Hayes had the pleasure of coaching his brother and a teamate in the pole vault. Both of them were All Staters that year placing 3rd and 5th in the pole vault. Jeremy is currently coaching the jumps at O’Fallon High School with the most recent All Stater being Haley Holton jumping 12-3 and placing third in the 3A Girls State Finals.
Jeremy is married to Natalie Hayes and we have one daughter Isabella.
