The Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame was established in 1977 to honor women and men who have made a significant contributions to the sports of Track & Field and Cross Country in the State of Illinois. Currently there are over 80 members.
In order to receive consideration by the Hall of Fame Committee, the candidate must have provided 20 years of service to Track & Field and/or Cross Country and some of those years must have been in Illinois. The candidate may be active or inactive. After careful review of the qualifications of the nominees, the committee may choose up to five elects per year. If a candidate is not selected the first year, her/his name remains in nomination for five years. After five years, the candidate may be re-nominated.
